Connecticut rebounded in April with the addition of 7,900 jobs, and the state’s health care sector led the growth.
The education and health services sector added 3,800 jobs last month.
Since last April educational and health services has added 9,200 positions, and now totals 315,200. Gains in the healthcare sector, which showed resilience during the recession, increased over the year by 7,500 positions.
Overall the state’s the unemployment rate remained steady at 9.1 percent.
