Let me start by thanking those of you who are regular readers of our HBJ Today electronic newsletter.
You know that over the past months, we’ve been spending a significant amount of time covering healthcare. It’s an important topic that touches us all.
And it’s a complex topic. From federal healthcare reform to the state’s emerging SustiNet program, from changes in electronic records to changes in the very business model of medical practices, from hospital service changes to the rise of suburban medical malls, we’ve been there for you every step of the way. Â
But the unrelenting pace of change in the healthcare field just cries out for more coverage. Being good journalists with our ears to the ground, we heard those cries. So, today we are announcing a new product — a weekly healthcare e-newsletter — that we hope will help you make sense of the changing landscape in which we all do business.
Greg Bordonaro, who leads our healthcare coverage, will be leading this new product that replaces Movers & Shakers (the weekly print version remains). If you’ve got news tips or suggestions, drop him a note at gbordonaro@hartfordbusiness.com or the general newsroom address at news@hartfordbusiness.com. Either way, your comments will find their way into our process as we grow this exciting new product.
Whether you work in insurance or healthcare delivery, benefits administration or social services, there will be something here for you every Tuesday, delivered directly to your e-mail inbox.
