Hartford Business Journal managing editor Brad Kane will deliver the morning keynote address at the “What’s the Deal? 21st Century Business Energy Conference on Thursday in Cromwell.
The conference, put on by the Connecticut Business & Industry Association and the Connecticut Power & Energy Society, is a gathering of business energy leaders discussing renewables, efficiency, the competitive marketplace, cybersecurity, incentive programs, and natural gas.
Kane’s keynote is entitled, “The Green Boom: How Media Covers a Controversial Industry” and will start at 8 a.m. at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Cromwell.
Previous morning keynotes at this conference include Gov. Dannel P. Malloy, Sen. Joe Lieberman (D-CT), and Dan Esty, commissioner of the Department of Energy & Environmental Protection.
