Hartford Business Journal has extended the nomination period for its annual Health Care Heroes awards to Monday, Oct. 15.
The awards are given to healthcare leaders including companies, doctors, nurses, specialists or managers who have proven to care for the community.
Last year’s event honored Community Health Center Inc., Integrated Health Services, Mott Corporation and several doctors, nurses and professors.
This year’s winners will be honored at the Hartford Marriott on Dec. 6 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
