Haven Healthcare forced to file for bankruptcy

Attorney General Richard Blumenthal will hold a press conference today at noon in his office to announce action to appoint an independent trustee to take control of the entire Haven Healthcare corporation and nursing home operations throughout Connecticut through the federal bankruptcy court. The corporation has been under fire by the governor and the state Department of Health for the poor conditions at its 15 facilities.
