J.B. Hunt Transport has leased some 24,000 square feet of industrial space in the New England Tradeport to house the Arkansas interstate trucking line’s regional logistics office.
Landlord Griffin Land & Nurseries Inc. announced Hunt moved into the space, following tenant improvements, at 75 International Drive in Windsor earlier this month. That building contains 117,000 square feet.
Lease terms and duration weren’t specified.
A Griffin spokeswoman said in an email that Hunt, of Lowell, Ark., is using the space to provide logistics services to an unnamed third party.
CB Richard Ellis’s Hartford and Albany offices represented Hunt in the lease; Griffin represented itself.
The 600-acre tradeport, straddling Windsor and East Granby, has 15 buildings containing some 2.6 million square feet of office, industrial and distribution space.
The park is also home to other logistics operators including, FedEx, UPS, Matheson Flight Extenders, and A. N. Derringer.
