The city of Hartford’s “3rd Annual Health & Wellness Senior Expo” will take place Aug. from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the South End Wellness Senior Center located at 830 Maple Ave.
Seniors are encouraged to participate in free oral health screenings, mammography testing, prostate screenings, joint and hip education, health screenings, brain teasers, aerobics and much more.
With over 40 providers representing hospitals, clinics, social service agencies, schools and health care agencies from throughout the Greater Hartford area, seniors can expect to obtain participate in a variety of free screenings and obtain healthy lifestyle tips.
Lunch will be provided to participating seniors. Parking is available on Maple Avenue and Douglas Street. Entrance to the center is through the rear of the building.
