Hartford’s Parkville Market once again has a full complement of food and beverage vendors after welcoming four new businesses in the past two months.
The new arrivals include:
· TacOcho – a fried taco stand that opened May 15.
· Pasta Y Amor – a vendor of classic pastas and Argentinian dishes, which opened May 1.
· Lions Den – a vegan food outlet with three Hartford locations, including a Parkville stall that opened April 1.
· Sugar Bean – a coffee shop with fresh pastries and sweets that also opened April 1.
With the additions, the Parkville Market’s 22 vendor stalls are all occupied. Real estate developer Carlos Mouta, who opened the market in a converted lumber yard in 2022, said the building is meant to have a rotating cast of vendors and offerings.
Stalls in the popular, two-story market range from 200 square feet to 400 square feet. These can serve as a good incubator for new concepts that graduate to larger spaces elsewhere.
