Hartford consumers have slightly better credit and less debt than the average American, an online credit scorer says.
CreditKarma.com released is June 2012 Credit Climate Report, with trend data on average credit card, student and mortgage debt along with credit score data.
Here’s what it revealed about Hartford consumers’ credit accounts as of June:
• A credit score of 664 vs. 655 nationally
• $5,039 in credit card debt vs. $5,576 nationally
• $182,388 in home mortgage loans vs. $166,325 nationally (Hartford home prices are higher than the national average)
• $13,244 in auto loan debt vs. $15,818 nationally
• $24,650 in student loan debt vs. $29,390 nationally
