Hartford’s Charter Oak Health Center will formally dedicate Thursday its expanded clinical and administrative space in the city’s Frog Hollow neighborhood, authorities say.
Mayor Pedro E. Segarra and Congressman John B. Larson are scheduled to join staff and outpatients for the noon ceremony at Charter Oak’s facility at 21 Grand St.
The recent expansion increased clinical and administrative space and helped to complete areas of the center for pediatrics, women’s health, mammography, bone density, and radiology.
The expansion will also greatly increase Charter Oak’s capacity for dental and behavioral health care for the impoverished.
