Carbone’s Ristorante in Hartford has signed on to cater the Travelers Championship PGA golf tournament that begins Monday at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell.
Carbone’s is teaming with national foodservice vendor Aramark to cater the tournament’s hospitality venues and private parties.
Owner Vinnie Carbone said his family’s restaurant has developed tournament menus based on original recipes for their authentic Italian cuisine.
Travelers Championship Sales Director Jason Soucy said Carbone’s adds “a local flavor” to the annual golf tournament that runs June 21-27.
