Bar Piña, based in downtown Hartford’s Goodwin Hotel, is closing its doors temporarily after one of its employees recently tested positive for COVID-19, the restaurant announced Tuesday.
The lounge on Tuesday said it would close for “the next couple days,” and will reopen after all of employees test negative for the novel coronavirus. It will also clean the facility, officials announced on the venue’s website.
“The health of our guests and our employees is our #1 priority,” the announcement said. “We look forward to reopening soon.”
Located at the corner of Haynes and Asylum streets, Bar Piña is part of chef Tyler Anderson’s Tanda Hospitality group.
Anderson also owns Italian restaurant Terreno at Goodwin Hotel and Millwright’s Restaurant & Tavern in Simsbury, among other venues.
