Hartford schools Superintendent Steven Adamowski and University of Hartford President Walter Harrison are among Leadership Greater Hartford’s 2010 Polaris honorees.
Neighborhood Beautification Leader Nicola Adam and Leadership Greater Hartford Vice President Doe Hentschel also will be honored at a Sept. 28 ceremony at The Hartford Club.
LGH members chose the quartet for “their effectiveness in providing a powerful light and example for others to follow,” said President Ted Carroll. These individuals, he adds, “Through their personal vision, courage and innovation they have embarked on important community endeavors that produce lasting and meaningful results.”
