Hartford’s 2013 STEM Gala raises scholarship funds

Nearly 80 people gathered for the recent 2014 STEM Scholarship Gala hosted by the Southern New England Association of Technical Professionals (SNEATP) at The Bond Ballroom in Hartford. SNEATP is a Connecticut professional chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE).  The event helped raise funds in support of science, technology, engineering, and math scholarships and programs. SNEATP presented scholarships to high achieving students and awarded a “Technologist of the Year” in recognition of a significant contribution made within the STEM community.
