Hartford-based tourism advocate Connecticut Convention & Sports Bureau elected Peter J. Berry as its new chairman.
Berry brings more than 30 years of management experience to his new position, including 28 years spent as chief staff officer for the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators from1984 to 2012.
Berry will replace Robert F. Flynn, who will have served the position for 3 years on June 30.
Berry has served on the Connecticut Business & Industry Association’s Small Business Advisory Committee from 1997 to 2004 and was a delegate to the White House Conference on Small Business in 1995.
