Hartford taxpayers have until 7 p.m. Monday to pay the first installment of their 2009 Grand List tax bill without interest.
The city tax office is extending its hours for Monday only because the Aug. 1 deadline fell on a weekend.
The city says tax payments that are mailed to its tax office address and postmarked on or before Aug. 2nd are considered timely.
