Hartford nonprofit Knox Inc. said it will launch on Monday an open-air street food market in the city’s Parkville neighborhood featuring food trucks, local restaurant fare and live music.
KNOW GOOD Market will run from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 30 Bartholomew Ave., organizers said.
Knox, which offers neighborhood beautification and urban gardening programs, said the market was inspired by the “eclectic entrepreneurship” of Parkville, which is home to reSET Social Enterprise Trust, jeans maker Hartford Denim Co., footwear maker The Brothers Crisp, and other businesses.
The second market will be held Oct. 12 at the same time.
Knox has teamed up with Hartford creative agency Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner to produce the events.
