The city of Hartford’s Office of Procurement Services will give small contractors and minority and women enterprises a close-up look March 24 at what services the city needs and how to vie for them.
This is to be the agency’s first in a series of free workshops, “How to Do Business with the City of Hartford,” to better assist interested contractors and businesses navigate the procurement process.Â
The first, starting at 5:30 p.m. in the Function Room, 2nd floor of City Hall, 550 Main St. downtown, will focus on construction contractors.Â
The program will include speakers from the city, the Business Resource Center and the Spanish American Merchants Association.
Information will be provided on loan packaging, licensing and registration processes, OSHA training and legal business requirements.
