A Hartford-based patient safety and risk management company formerly known as MRM Group, which was acquired in July 2016 by Boston-based Coverys and became ELM / MRM Group in December, has been renamed again.
It’s now known as Med-IQ.
Part of the Coverys family of companies, Med-IQ unifies three Coverys acquisitions — ELM Exchange, MRM Group and Med-IQ — into one unit along with Coverys’ healthcare provider education department.
Med-IQ has about 100 employees, about a third of those in Connecticut. Other offices are in Maryland and Boston.
