A new report ranks Hartford 15th out of the top 50 metro areas when it comes to consumer satisfaction with their car buying experience.
In Hartford, 54 percent of car buyers gave their dealership experience a 5-star rating. That’ the highest among New England metro areas with Boston reporting 52.1 percent and Providence ranked at 50.2 percent.
CarGurus, a car shopping website, released the study identifying cities where consumers report the best car-shopping experiences, as measured by customer ratings of dealerships submitted to the site. Topping the list is Nashville, where shoppers gave the highest percentage of perfect 5-star reviews (58 percent) when rating their dealership buying experiences.
For this study, CarGurus analysts examined more than 100,000 recent user-Âsubmitted dealer reviews from the top 51 metro areas in the contiguous U.S. The most satisfied car shopping city rankings were determined by comparing the percentage of 5-Âstar reviews among total reviews submitted for each city. Cities with the highest proportion of 5-Âstar reviews ranked highest.
