Propark Mobility said it purchased K-7 Parking Co., a family-owned business founded in 1948 that manages about 30 locations in the Pittsburgh area.
Hartford-based parking management company Propark Mobility announced it has acquired a longtime Pittsburgh operator, expanding its presence in western Pennsylvania.
Propark Mobility said it purchased K-7 Parking Co., a family-owned business founded in 1948 that manages about 30 locations in the Pittsburgh area. The company provides valet and surface lot management services.
"K-7 has been part of the Pittsburgh parking landscape for generations, and that kind of longevity says a lot about the trust they've built in the market," said David Schmid, CEO of Propark Mobility.
The deal marks Propark’s second acquisition in the Pittsburgh area this year. In January, the
company said it acquired Pittsburgh Valet, a regional service provider. Financial terms of both deals were not disclosed.
Propark provides parking and mobility services at more than 1,000 locations across the United States, including in the healthcare, hospitality and commercial sectors.
