The city has received four proposals to develop a Rock Cats baseball stadium and/or surrounding mixed-use development in Downtown North, Mayor Pedro Segarra’s office announced.
Officials did not identify the bidders, but said they would release more information once they determine that the proposals meet the minimum criteria of the request for proposals the city sent out a month ago.
City officials said they could make a recommendation to the city council by early next month.
Thomas Hooker Brewing Co., of Bloomfield, intended to submit a proposal for a 50,000-square-foot brewery, restaurant and visitors center adjacent to the proposed stadium, owner Curt Cameron said earlier this month.
Cameron said he hadn’t teamed up with any other developers, but would be pleased to be a part of any eventual development team that emerged.
