Hartford Marathon Foundation holds Mitten Run

The Hartford Marathon Foundation recently held its Blue Back Mitten Run 5K race in West Hartford. The event attracted over 2,000 runners, raised $350 and collected 3,500 new mittens and hats to donate to the “The Town That Cares Fund,” a program of the West Hartford Human Services Department. Pictured, Santa greeted each runner as they crossed the finish line at the race.
