The Hartford Public Library is set Tuesday to unveil its renovated Albany Avenue branch, in the city’s North End.
Library CEO Matthew K. Poland, Mayor Pedro E. Segarra and other city and neighborhood dignitaries will attend a grand reopening ceremony from 1 to 2 p.m. at the branch at 1250 Albany Ave.
The project cost $3.5 million, the library says. Capital Restoration was general contractor
The branch remained open during construction, but has been closed since Oct. 8 to rearrange books onto new shelving and install new furniture in time for the unveiling.
