The national law firm LeClairRyan – with a staff of 10 in Hartford –acquired on Friday the Houston-based law firm of Hays, McConn, Rice & Pickering.
With the addition, LeClairRyan now has 370 attorneys and 720 employees in 23 offices in 12 states and Washington, D.C. Its Hartford offices are in the Gold Building – One Financial Plaza in downtown Hartford.
The firm specializes in corporate law and litigation. Its Hartford attorneys specialize in insurance, medical malpractice, and banking litigation. The new attorneys from Houston specialize in construction litigation, products liability, and the oil and gas industry.
