Hartford Mayor Luke Bronin will announce a $500,000 microgrant program aimed at helping small businesses, like food trucks, e-commerce ventures and home-based businesses.
Bronin is scheduled to announce the program at noon Monday, alongside city small business development staff and leadership from reset – a private small business support program.
This program is intended to support existing Hartford-based businesses with fewer than five employees, as well as city entrepreneurs hoping to launch a new business. The maximum grant award is $2,500.Â
