Hartford investor pays $2.1M for 28-unit Hartford apartment building

A Hartford-based apartment investor recently paid $2.1 million for a 28-unit building in the city.

Kenyon Street Apartments LLC sold the roughly 65-year-old brick apartment building at 20 Kenyon St. to Hartford-based RL Equities LLC in a deal recorded by the city on July 29.

The seller’s principal is Michael N. Cohen, of Bloomfield.

The buyer’s principal is Shmuel Tolendano, of Hartford. Tolendano is also principal of A&M Equities LLC, which owns 11 apartment units in buildings on Julius Street, South Whitney Street and Warner Street in Hartford.
