Friday is the last day for Hartford Housing Authority chief Alan E. Green, authorities say.
Green, who has been in the post 4 ½ years, submitted his resignation Jan. 26 to the authority board, citing health and family considerations.
To acknowledge his service, authority chairman Marilyn Rossetti announced the creation of a scholarship on his behalf.
The board says an acting executive director will be named at Friday’s meeting.
