Hartford high-rise apartments sell for $22.3M

The 270-unit Capitol View Apartments high-rise in Hartford recently sold for $22.3 million.

In a deal recorded July 29, 600A LLC paid $22.3 million to two limited liability companies sharing the same Greenwich address. One of these sellers, HFTE LLC, formed July 5 with a principal of Steven J. Schacter, of Harrison, New York, according to state business records.

That deal transferred the 270-unit, 1955-vintage, apartment building at 590 Asylum St., as well as two associated parking lots.

The buyer, 600A LLC, formed May 31 according to state business records. Its principal is Jack Jankelovits, who lists a West Hartford UPS Store as his business and residence addresses in a state business filing.
