Hartford HealthCare on Monday is opening its first downtown Hartford urgent care center, which features a new hybrid care-delivery model.
The health care system’s new GoHealth Urgent Care location sits at street level and is part of the company’s headquarters at 100 Pearl St.
Known as The Health Desk @ 100 Pearl, the facility provides on-site virtual visits along with testing services. It includes two exam rooms with computer monitors to give patients a private space to meet with a Hartford HealthCare-GoHealth provider virtually.Â
Also, the facility is staffed with Hartford HealthCare-GoHealth medical assistants who take vitals and administer tests for non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries.
An urgent care center has been a long-sought amenity in downtown Hartford.
The Health Desk @ 100 Pearl’s hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
