A new Hartford HealthCare-GoHealth Urgent Care center has opened in Southington.
The center, at 775 Queen St., is the latest of as many as 15 urgent-care centers within 18 months to be operated jointly by Hartford HealthCare and GoHealth Urgent Care, which manages almost 50 urgent-care centers in New York, and the Portland, Ore., and San Francisco Bay areas.
Other new locations already open include Avon, Glastonbury, Meriden, Newington, Vernon and Wethersfield. New locations opening soon are in Enfield and South Windsor, according to the companies’ website.
The companies announced their joint plans earlier this year and the venture marks a significant expansion for Hartford HealthCare in the urgent care market.
