Hartford HealthCare and GoHealth Urgent Care on Monday opened a new urgent care center in Killingly.
The center, located at 550 Hartford Pike, Suite 3, joins 38 other GoHealth Urgent Care centers statewide.
The facility is intended to reduce unnecessary emergency room visits, resulting in lower out‑of‑pocket costs and shorter wait times for patients.
The center serves Killingly, Putnam, Brooklyn and surrounding areas, offering urgent care services that include evaluating and treating injuries, illnesses and infections, while providing X‑ray imaging, rapid lab testing and diagnostics.
The center also provides sports physicals, vaccines and preventive care, as well as virtual care options.
The facility is open Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
