Hartford HealthCare has added to its Fairfield County leadership team.
Dr. Shea Gregg has joined the Fairfield region as chair of surgery. Since January 2022, Joseph Portereiko has served as interim chair.
Gregg joined Hartford HealthCare in 2022, and practiced as a trauma surgeon at Hartford Hospital, The Hospital of Central Connecticut and Backus Hospital.
Dr. Tobias Wasser has accepted the positions of chair of psychiatric services for the Fairfield region and chair of psychiatry at the Frank H. Netter School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University.
In these roles, he will support the ongoing development of Hartford HealthCare’s clinical services and collaborate with its academic partners at Quinnipiac University in supporting the newly accredited rural psychiatric residency program.
