The U.S. Postal Service recently swore in Leeann Theriault as Hartford’s 40th postmaster.
Theriault started with USPS in 1994 as a part-time letter carrier in Ohio. She was promoted to positions in Massachusetts and Florida before becoming postmaster of Smyrna, Ga., and manager of operations in the Atlanta district.
She has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Northwood University and is a graduate of the Postal Service Advanced Leadership Program.
Theriault is working towards a dual master’s degree in business and project management.
