Gasoline prices in Greater Hartford dropped again in the past week as Connecticut continued to recovery from Hurricane Sandy’s impact that started Oct. 28.
Among the Greater Hartford gasoline stations, the price per gallon of regular unleaded was $3.832 on Wednesday, down more than 4 cents from the $3.875 a week ago, according to the AAA Daily Fuel Gauge Report.
In the past two weeks since before Sandy hit, gasoline prices have dropped 12 cents per gallon.
Connecticut Attorney General George Jepsen put anti-price gouging protections on energy fuels such as gasoline after Sandy caused power outages and flooding in the state. Those protections expire Nov. 10.
