Moraima Gutierrez of Hartford has been named chair of the steering committee for the Latino Endowment Fund at the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving. She succeeds former Latino Endowment Fund steering committee chair Nelly Rojas Schwan, who will continue serving as a member of the committee.
Gutierrez currently serves as assistant district director for economic development/media relations at the Connecticut District Office of the U.S. Small Business Administration. Gutierrez previously worked as the station manager for Telemundo, WRDM Hartford/WDMR Springfield, where she was responsible for all aspects of managing the station throughout Hartford and New Haven counties as well as Western Massachusetts.
