Hartford’s U.S. Engineering Solutions Inc. is paying $470,000 to purchase a four-story office building on Lewis Street downtown, which will house the company’s Connecticut headquarters, realty authorities say.
The software solutions company has purchased the 7,600-square-foot office building at 3-9 Lewis Street, from Lewis Street Three LLC.
The company, which formerly rented space at 179 Allyn St., has already moved into its new digs, officials said.
In addition to housing US Engineering, the Lewis Street building has the law offices of Thomas Gould Page LLC and Kennelley & Associates LLC as tenants.
According to its website, U.S. Engineering Solutions devises software for monitoring bridge, dam, levee, and other hydrologic infrastructure.
Its other offices are in Cambridge, Mass., and Columbus, Ohio.
The firm did not immediately respond to a request Thursday for comment.
Hartford’s RM Bradley Brokerage Co. was the buyer’s broker; Cushman & Wakefield the seller’s.
