Hartford’s parking overlord has expanded its online concierge services to allow parkers, among other things, to pay in advance to park in certain downtown garages and to get traffic and parking-space updates.
The Hartford Parking Authority says its new www.hartfordparking.com homepage also offers parking scofflaws the ability to pay fines online.
Authority CEO Mark McGovern said the online service enhancements are the latest push in its “park easy in Hartford” program.
“Already this summer, we’ve increased personal service through the launch of our on-street Parking Ambassadors program and facility improvements with the start of the Church Street Garage restoration,” McGovern said.
The website also offers:
— Online pre-payment for event parking at the Church Street and Morgan Street garages;
• Frequently asked questions and answers about on-street and municipal garage parking;
• Live traffic advisories and camera views;
• Links to Hartford attractions and parking authority-sponsored parking promotions.
