Hartford’s New Country BMW debuted a new electric car at a test drive event this week.
Attendees were able to test drive the new BMW i3, a zero emission vehicle that will be released later this May. New County BMW is the first dealer in Connecticut to offer the new i3.
The model is made of carbon-fiber reinforced plastic that runs on battery and includes an optional range extender that can keep the car running.
New Country BMW is receiving 24 of the new vehicle and has already sold half of them.
