The Hartford Municipal Employees’ Federal Credit Union will soon open a new branch in the city’s North End, officials say.
The new branch will open June 1 at 2775 Main St., city officials said Tuesday. An automated teller machine is already operating at the location.
The satellite is part of 7,400-member Hartford Municipal’s recently approved charter expansion, allowing it to accept members who live, work, worship or attend school in the Greater Hartford area.
The 65-year-old credit union has three locations in Hartford and one in East Hartford.
