Hartford consulting firm partners with Israeli software maker

Hartford business-technology consulting firm NEOS said that it has forged a strategic partnership with an Israeli software-engineering company to create software that replaces insurer’s legacy systems.

Under the agreement, Ness Technologies, which is based in Tel Aviv with U.S. headquarters in New Jersey, will design business-process-management software for NEOS’ insurance clients. Ness has more than 6,500 employees serving more than 500 clients across the world.

The two hope to eventually expand their partnership to the information and healthcare industries.

Through its sister company Vgo Software, NEOS also develops software based on Oracle technologies, according to its website.
