Hartford company plants over 900 flowers, trees, grasses at Seaside Park

Volunteers from Hartford design firm Stantec spent hours planting and sprucing up Bridgeport’s Seaside Park as part of a companywide day of service. The day saw over 5,500 Stantec employees across the globe giving back to their communities. The 18 volunteers, from the company’s offices in both Hartford and Hamden, planted over 900 perennials, grasses, and trees, particularly around the park’s new playground. This is the second year the company helped enhance the Connecticut coastline. Last year the team helped clear sections of the ongoing Shoreline Greenway Trail.
