Business for Downtown Hartford has hired Jane Macy-Painter as merchant coordinator.
Macy-Painter will work with local business owners on advocacy programs and fundraising efforts, and also serve administrative functions.
She has worked in hospitality and customer service for more than 10 years, most recently at the Connecticut Science Center.
