The City of Hartford is alerting homeowners that its tax-assessor agents, starting Monday, hit the streets to conduct property revaluations for the October grand list.
City Assessor John Philip says CLT Appraisal Services will visit certain properties to ensure descriptions on assessment card on file with the city match up with a visual inspection.
Most inspections will be conducted from curbside and all reviewers and revaluation staff will carry ID cards that can be verified by calling the city assessor or CLT Appraisla, Philip said.
All inspections will be done by late September.

The entire revalution program will be done by January and will be reflected in tax bills mailed in July 2012.
