The Hartford Athletic professional soccer club has secured 39 corporate partners for the 2021 season, the organization announced this morning.
Among that group are all five of the team’s original founding sponsors — Trinity Health of New England, Stanley Black & Decker, The Hartford, Cigna and Travelers — and numerous other returning partners, such as Bank of America, PepsiCo and AARP, according to team officials.
New partners this year include Beam Suntory, Boston Beer Co., Constellation Brands, the Connecticut Department of Transportation, Damato Chiropractic, Day Hill Dome, Future Fitness, Hartford Distributors, Inc., the Law Office of Crescenzo Deluca, Nuovo Pasta, P. Gulino & Associates, Robinson + Cole, Stop & Shop, Studio 31 Massage, Walgreens and Westfield Bank.
The team’s owners also said they’re working with 4FRONT, a marketing and consulting agency, in their search for a stadium naming rights partner to rename Dillon Stadium in Hartford, where home games are played. Multiple parties have expressed interest in securing those rights, they said, though no names were disclosed.
The Hartford Athletic will begin its season April 30 on the road with a match against the New York Red Bulls II. The team’s first regular season home match will take place on May 15, against the Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC.
