The Greater Hartford Association of Realtors has elected Alexa Kebalo Hughes as its 2021 president.
At 31, Kebalo Hughes — of eXp Realty — is the youngest-ever president of GHAR, a more than 10-year-old organization that reports more than 4,800 members in 27 communities in the region.
She began her career in real estate in 2011 and has been on GHAR’s board since 2017.
“I am so excited at the possibilities for supporting GHAR and our members’ business in 2021,” she said in a statement. “As a Realtor leader, I am dedicated to protecting private property rights, creating equal housing opportunities for all, and promoting the American dream of homeownership.”
She succeeds Diane McAdams, who was GHAR’s president during 2020.
