Greater Hartford house sales and median prices continued their upward climb in February, brokers say.
There were 478 single-family home closings last month, up 4.6 percent from 457 units in February 2013, according to the Greater Hartford Association of Realtors.
Median sale price – half sold above, the rest below the median-price threshold — increased 2.65 percent to $194,000 vs. $189,000 a year earlier.
Both area single-family sales and prices rose in January from a year earlier.
Condominium sales fell 6 percent last month to 109 units from 116 last year, the association said.

Median condo prices rose 14.2 percent to $142,700 vs. $125,000 in February 2013.
