Stackpole Moore Tryon Tuesday’s apparel store will be rebranded on Nov. 15, as Morneault’s Stackpole Moore Tryon.
Owners Ron and Jody Morneault, who have operated the men’s and women’s clothing shop for 45 years in downtown Hartford, purchased the store, which had opened in 1906 as Stackpole Moore Tryon, and renamed it Stackpole Moore Tryon Tuesday’s in 2007. Now, they’re renaming it again to coincide with the store’s 110-year anniversary.
“We’re truly positioning our store for the 21st century” said Ron Morneault. “While we are eager
to meet the needs of today’s consumer, we are also committed to upholding the high standards
established by Stackpole Moore Tryon over 100 years ago.”
This past year, Connecticut Magazine voted the store the top women’s clothing boutique and Hartford Magazine cited it as the best men’s store..
A series of celebrations will be held from Nov. 15 through Nov. 19, including a ribbon cutting with Mayor Luke Bronin on Nov. 15 at 11:45 a.m.
