Hartford apartments sell for $3.9M

A Hartford apartment complex in the city’s north end has sold for $3.9 million, records show.

The 50-unit apartment complex at 275 Westland St., sold Nov. 5, property records show. 

The buyer was Westland Place Holding LLC, which is controlled by Leah Brikman of Brooklyn, New York, state records show.

The buyer took out a $3.1 million mortgage from Arbor Commercial Funding I LLC to finance the purchase, land records show. 

The seller was 275 Westland St LLC, which is controlled by Ahron Rudich, also of Brooklyn, New York, state records show. Rudich originally bought the property in 2019 for $2.45 million, land records show.

The city released a tax lien on the property in September after the previous owner paid a $39,002.26 outstanding property tax bill, land records show. 

The apartment complex was built in 1959 and contains a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom units, according to CoStar.
