The  Lafayette Arms Apartments in Hartford’s south green neighborhood have sold for $9.6 million, city records show.
The 139 units at 194 Washington St. sold last month to 194 WASHINGTON STREET LLC, which is controlled by Abraham Deutsch, principal of Hartford’s BH Property Management LLC.
The seller was Lafayette Arms LLC, which is controlled by Massachusetts-based Premier Capital Partners LLC, state records show. Premier Capital bought the property in 2015 for $6.9 million, city property records show.Â
In 2017, a fire broke out in a third-floor apartment in the property, which temporarily displaced some residents, according to the Hartford Courant.Â
